ad1 Finally, I am finding a few minutes to build one of my posts I have wanted too since I shot the car back in Sema week. I got in contact with Brain on Instagram, I shot a picture of his EG at Eibach earlier in the year and upon posting it on the facebook page (www.facebook.com/PureCarModify.com) It went crazy! shares from well followed facebook pages from all corners of the world! Brian's shoot came off the back of another I had arranged, a 2013 look at Matt's TSX which I also shot last year! I am posting Brian's first, as his was the first car I shot on the day. Side clean The spec list of Brain's EG is amazing, I have actually listed it all below for you to really get to grips with the car. EG Brain is fully intent on racing this year next year and it has been set up periodically, but the journey has taken him from a bare shell he bought of a 92 SI back in January 2012 to where it is today.. top one Along with the car itself, the seller was also selling a Backyard Special Carbon wing for the hatch, so Brian bought that along with the car. rear front side Brian stripped the EG down and prepped it for its rollcage.... cage Initially Brian wanted to Turbo the EG, having all the parts ready for the build, but as we all know life can throw a curve ball in the mix & getting offered a full time Radiology Program ment he had to part out the turbo parts so he can finish the build properly and enjoy the car in a different form, this took it down the route to the JDM H22. engine Brian Managed to pick up a set of Sprint Hart CP-R's in 15x7 ET10 which fit the Civic perfectly. A very sought after wheel. Every single bushing and bolt has been replaced on the car, Energy suspension bushings was Brians choice of upgrades, whilst also swapping out his transmission for a GSR LD Transmission along with Gearspeed Carbon syncro wheel No Skinny stretched tyres here.... tyres Being unhappy with the job the body shop had done with priming the engine bay for paint, Brain took it upon himself to re-do the bay himself making sure that it got into every crevice possible. engine ad1 side Brian came up with the colour mix, its a custom green mix with a gold pearl. It is a pretty mad colour to behond in real life! Sometimes looking green, but in that las vegas sun, it shines pearl gold! Brain painted the car himself, which is one of the reasons this car continues to blow me away, almost every single detail of this car Brian has done himself or had a hand in doing... Side lean rear Side The whole build has been a testiment to Brians patience, willingness to adapt to situations where many people would just simply give up. Vegas begas Genuinely i have the up most respect for Brian and what he's doing as it is very similar to me. He just has a lot more hands on skills than I could only dream of acquiring! His store looks amazing & with the ability to work on cars to a very high standard too, will always keep business rolling. He is a very well mannered dude and I can be honest, meeting some car guys with internet famous cars you can think they're a bit of a dick, but Brian has nothing but gratitude & he himself cannot believe how well the car has been received, very humble, how we all should be. As at the end of the day its just a car! & People will always remind each other how we treat one an other. Trust me if you're a big headed ass hole in this industry word will get around! Luckily, I haven't met many like that & the ones I have, I've managed to loose contact with. Brian is a great guy, running a great & very friendly business, just so happen's he's built a hugely inspirational Civic whilst doing everything else in his life.
