Ballade Sport 00-09 S2000 Adjustable Drive Gear allows the user to advance or retard the cam timing simultaneously up to 3 degrees. Engines with old timing chains can benefit with the use of this adjustable drive gear to re-calibrate all the timing indicators to their F20c & F22c engines ie: Intake, Exhaust, & Crank Pulley. It is especially crucial to re-calibrate cam and crank timing for resurfaced cylinder heads or decked engine blocks, which leave you with longer timing chains. The drive gear comes fully assembled with the idler gear and sprocket. Made out of hardened steel matching the same HRC rating as the original Honda OEM equipment.
